DESCRIPTION:The annual DIMVA conference serves as a premier forum for advan
 cing the state of the art in intrusion detection, malware detection, and vu
 lnerability assessment. Each year DIMVA brings together international exper
 ts from academia, industry and government to present and discuss novel rese
 arch in these areas. DIMVA is organized by the special interest group Secur
 ity - Intrusion Detection and Response of the German Informatics Society (G
 I). The conference proceedings will appear in Springer's Lecture Notes in C
 omputer Science (LNCS) series.
